Backup with FileZilla

For manual backup of server files, I use FileZilla. Since my server is Linux (RedHat) and my local computer is Windows, I have to make sure that line endings are preserved by Edit - Settings - Transfers - FTP: File Types, Default transfer type = Binary. Otherwise I might get double empty lines in my .tpl files. I also preserve the timestamps (creation dates) of my files by selecting Transfer - Preserve timestamps of transferred files:
